HeyDoWhat Reward Points and Integrity Award Program Terms
Publication Date: September 9, 2026 Last Updated: September 9, 2026
These Reward Points and Integrity Award Program Terms (Program Terms) are Supplemental Terms under Section 20 of the HeyDoWhat Terms of Service (Terms). They govern HDW Reward Points and the conditions under which an Integrity Award may be offered through an authenticated HDW Report Surface. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.
An Integrity Award opportunity exists only when HDW displays an active, authenticated Report Surface that states the eligible conduct, evidence requirements, exact award or maximum award, limits, program version, and effective time before submission. A message, complaint, support ticket, review, or report submitted outside that Report Surface is not award-eligible. These Program Terms alone do not promise an award or create a Merchant charge.
1. Definitions
Available means a Reward Point lot has cleared every applicable earning, verification, reversal, and holding condition and may be used through the Wallet before its fixed expiration.
Eligible Integrity Report means a good-faith report submitted through an active Report Surface that identifies conduct expressly listed on that Report Surface and satisfies its evidence and eligibility rules. A report is not an Eligible Integrity Report merely because submitted.
Integrity Award means a Bucket B lot that HDW may issue for a verified Eligible Integrity Report under an active Report Surface stating the exact award or maximum award.
Integrity Award Channel means the report-and-reward program HDW operates through an active Report Surface under Section 7.
Pending means a potential or recorded Reward Point earning that is not available to spend and may still be denied, canceled, corrected, or reversed.
Qualifying Purchase means the external-cash portion of a Booking that satisfies the purchase-earning rules displayed before purchase and reaches the required verified-completion state.
Qualifying Review means an eligible HDW-native public review submitted after verified completed redemption under neutral authenticity and content requirements. A third-party-platform review is not a Qualifying Review.
Reward Point Adjustment Deficit means a noncash, noncollectible internal record created when Reward Points subject to a valid reversal were previously spent. It can be satisfied only from future Bucket B awards and never makes available or spendable Bucket B negative.
Reward Point Lot means an immutable batch of Bucket B promotional value with a stated source, quantity or value, status, release time, expiration time, redemption value, and program-rule version.
Report Surface means the authenticated HDW interface through which an Integrity Report may be submitted and on which the applicable eligibility, evidence, award, limit, and effective-date terms are displayed.
2. Nature of Reward Points
Reward Points are promotional value issued by HDW. They are not purchased paid value, money, property, a deposit, a bank account, a security, a general- purpose payment instrument, or a gift card. Reward Points:
- have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or exchanged outside the Platform except where Applicable Law requires otherwise;
- are personal to the account and cannot be transferred, sold, assigned, combined, pledged, inherited, or used as collateral;
- may be used only for eligible Platform transactions and subject to the checkout rules then displayed;
- are tracked in separate immutable lots;
- may expire under the lot-specific rules fixed when they become Available; and
- are distinct from Bucket A paid value issued only through refunds, restoration or ordinary Generic Product expiry as authorized by the Terms and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
HDW may change, pause, or end future earning opportunities prospectively. A released, nonfraudulent Reward Point Lot keeps the redemption value and expiration fixed when it became Available, subject to valid correction, reversal, account-security measures, and Applicable Law.
3. Purchase Earning
A Qualifying Purchase earns Reward Points only if the checkout surface states that earning applies. The earning base is the eligible external-cash amount actually processed for the Booking, less Booking Taxes, floored at zero. That amount includes the Consumer Platform Service Fee and excludes Bucket A, Bucket B, coupons, discounts and other promotional value, as provided in Terms Section 5.30.
The earning base, multiplier or award, program version, and verification rule are fixed in the Transaction Snapshot. A later program change does not retroactively recalculate them. Purchase-related points remain Pending until the Booking reaches the disclosed verified-completion state and any stated hold clears.
Cancellation, refund, Chargeback, payment reversal, fraud, duplicate issuance, or another reduction of the eligible paid amount cancels or proportionately reverses the related Reward Points. A partial adjustment must use the original earning rule and may not reverse more than the points attributable to the reduced amount.
4. Review Earning
An HDW-native Qualifying Review may earn the standardized award disclosed before submission. Eligibility requires verified completed redemption and compliance with neutral authenticity, independence, and content requirements.
The award cannot depend on a positive rating, favorable sentiment, omission of criticism, particular wording, or later refusal to edit or remove the review. HDW does not buy the Consumer's opinion. Where a rewarded review is displayed, HDW will identify the verified-booking relationship and material reward incentive in the manner required by Applicable Law and the display context.
A verified-booking or rewarded-review label confirms only the qualifying relationship or incentive. It does not warrant that every statement is true, endorse the review, or prevent lawful moderation. A review by Merchant, Merchant Personnel, a conflicted person who fails to disclose the conflict, or a person using automation, coordination, fabrication, or duplicate accounts is ineligible.
5. Pending, Available, Use, and Expiration
Pending Reward Points cannot be spent, transferred, included in available Wallet value, or relied on as earned. A Reward Point Lot becomes Available only after the applicable server-recorded verification event.
The default validity period for a newly issued Reward Point Lot is 180 days, unless a different period is stated in versioned promotion-specific terms disclosed before that lot's initial issuance. HDW may change the default prospectively under Section 11 and the applicable notice and acceptance rules. A lot's validity period starts once, when it is initially issued as Available; a Pending purchase earning does not start that period.
Available Reward Point Lots are used in first-to-expire order. The lot with the earliest expiration is used first, followed by later-expiring Bucket B lots, then Bucket A as the Terms provide. HDW may show local-time convenience displays, but the immutable lot records the governing expiration instant in Coordinated Universal Time.
Once fixed, a lot's expiration is not paused, reset or extended by a purchase, refund, account freeze, support request, dispute, later program rule or other activity unless Applicable Law requires otherwise. This does not prevent correction of an erroneous record to the expiration actually governing that lot. A refund of Bucket B restores value to its original Reward Point Lots with their original expiration; it does not convert to Bucket A or create a new validity period. A lot already expired at restoration remains expired unless Applicable Law requires a different result.
HDW may display or send an expiration reminder but is not required to do so. Failure or absence of a reminder does not extend a lot.
6. Corrections, Reversals, and Adjustment Deficits
HDW may deny, cancel, correct, or reverse Reward Points attributable to error, fraud, abuse, a false or ineligible earning event, a refund, Chargeback, reversal, duplicate issuance, or violation of these Program Terms. The action must be proportionate to the affected earning or abuse and may not seize Bucket A, create a negative spendable Bucket B balance, or cancel unrelated valid paid value.
HDW applies a valid reversal first against Available Reward Points connected to the earning event. If those points were spent, HDW may record a Reward Point Adjustment Deficit. Future Bucket B awards repay that deficit before becoming Available. The deficit:
- is not cash debt;
- does not accrue interest or collection fees;
- does not authorize a card or bank charge, invoice, collection, setoff, cross-account recovery, Bucket A seizure, or cancellation of unrelated paid value; and
- remains subject to correction and the support process in Section 9.
7. Integrity Award Eligibility and Operation
7.1 Report-Surface Eligibility
HDW makes an Integrity Award opportunity available only through an active, authenticated Report Surface that presents the governing eligibility and award terms before submission. A message, complaint, support ticket, review or report submitted elsewhere is not an Eligible Integrity Report and earns no award. HDW has no obligation to accept a historical or off-surface submission or grant a retroactive award.
7.2 Required Report-Surface Terms
Before accepting an award-eligible report, HDW must publish on the Report Surface:
- the conduct eligible for reporting;
- who may report and all conflict or participation exclusions;
- required facts and evidence;
- the exact award or maximum award and how HDW determines the amount;
- one-report, one-person, one-transaction, or one-event limits;
- verification, Pending, denial, correction, and reversal rules;
- the Reward Point Lot value, release event, and expiration;
- the effective date and whether earlier conduct is eligible;
- material tax or disclosure treatment; and
- the applicable program version.
The Report Surface and these Program Terms must be technically active and available before a report can be Eligible. HDW may not infer an award amount from an internal plan or charge Merchant for an unpublished amount.
7.3 Eligible Reporting and Evidence
An Eligible Integrity Report must be made in good faith and include reasonably available specific information identifying the Merchant conduct, affected transaction or interaction, time, communication method, and supporting record. HDW may request follow-up information, preserve relevant evidence, compare transaction and account records, contact the Merchant or other witnesses where appropriate, and protect a reporter's identity where law and a fair process permit.
A report, screenshot, allegation, or award decision is not conclusive proof of breach. HDW may consider reliability, completeness, authenticity, consistency, causal connection, account history, provider evidence, Merchant response, and other relevant information. HDW may decline a report it cannot verify without declaring the reporter dishonest.
7.4 Ineligible Conduct
No award is available for a report that is fabricated, materially misleading, knowingly incomplete in a way that changes its meaning, coordinated to obtain multiple awards, duplicate, automated, retaliatory, extortionate, abusive, self-dealing, or submitted through unauthorized access. A person who planned, directed, solicited, materially participated in, or knowingly benefited from the reported circumvention is ineligible unless the active Report Surface expressly provides a lawful cooperation exception.
HDW may consolidate related reports and award no more than the disclosed event limit. Being first to submit does not guarantee an award unless the active terms expressly say so.
7.5 Award Independence and Consumer Rights
An Integrity Award does not purchase or require:
- a positive or negative review, rating, or statement;
- particular wording, testimony, advocacy, or public disclosure;
- confidentiality or silence;
- a release, waiver, settlement, assignment, or surrender of a refund or other Consumer remedy;
- withdrawal of a payment dispute or government report; or
- a particular HDW enforcement outcome.
The reporter may make truthful reports to law enforcement, regulators, payment providers, or other lawful recipients. HDW may disclose the existence and material terms of an incentive where required by law or context.
7.6 Pending, Issuance, Denial, and Reversal
A potential Integrity Award remains Pending until HDW verifies eligibility and records issuance under the active program version. HDW may deny or reduce an award within the disclosed maximum, or reverse it for error, fraud, duplicate payment, ineligibility, or a later evidence-based reversal of the underlying determination. A reversal follows Section 6 and cannot create cash debt or seize Bucket A.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for Taxes imposed on you in connection with a Reward Point or Integrity Award where Applicable Law so provides. HDW may request lawful tax information, withhold where required, or decline an award it cannot lawfully issue. This Section does not state that a particular award is taxable or permit HDW to invent a tax charge.
9. Records, Support, and Review
HDW may maintain program-version, earning-source, transaction, verification, lot, status, use, expiration, correction, reversal, report, evidence, and award records. A record is evidence subject to applicable challenges; it is not conclusive merely because maintained by HDW.
You may report an apparent Reward Point or Integrity Award error through
support@heydowhat.com. Identify the affected transaction, lot, report, or
award and the specific issue. HDW may correct a proven error through lot
release, restoration, reversal, expiration correction, deficit correction, or
another appropriate nonduplicative method. This support review does not limit
a non-waivable right or the dispute provisions in the Terms.
10. Program Integrity and Enforcement
You may not manipulate earning, create duplicate or synthetic accounts, fabricate transactions or redemptions, automate reviews or reports, sell or transfer Reward Points, coordinate false claims, interfere with another reporter, retaliate, or exploit an error. HDW may apply proportionate account, earning, review, report, redemption, and promotional-value controls under the Terms.
These controls do not authorize a consumer cash debt, stored-payment charge, collection activity, Bucket A seizure, cross-account recovery, unrelated paid- value cancellation, or fixed consumer penalty.
11. Changes, Termination, Precedence, and Survival
HDW may change or end future earning opportunities under Sections 19 and 20 of the Terms. A material change to an actively accepted program will receive the notice and renewed assent required by the Terms and Applicable Law. A later change does not retroactively reprice or shorten a released, nonfraudulent Reward Point Lot.
If these Program Terms conflict with the Terms, these Program Terms control only the specific Reward Point or Integrity Award subject they expressly govern. The Terms control consumer payments, refunds, Wallet source restoration, disputes, liability, and all other subjects. Applicable Law and non-waivable rights always control.
Sections concerning Reward Point nature, fixed lot terms, corrections, adjustment deficits, integrity evidence, taxes, records, program integrity, precedence, and accrued rights survive account or program termination as necessary to resolve existing lots, deficits, reports, awards, disputes, and legal obligations.
