HeyDoWhat Promotion Terms

1. Scope, Relationship to the Terms, and Precedence
These Promotion Terms (these "Promotion Terms") govern an HDW promotional offer that states it is subject to these Promotion Terms. They are the Promotion Terms referred to in the HeyDoWhat Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Terms capitalized but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
The Terms continue to apply. If these Promotion Terms and the Terms cannot reasonably be read together, the Terms control except to the limited extent that the Terms expressly permit offer-specific treatment.
These Promotion Terms do not govern compensation under the HDW Partner Program Agreement.
2. Definitions
For these Promotion Terms:
- Offer-Specific Terms means the terms HDW displays for a particular Promotion, such as its discount and expiration.
- Price-Reduction Coupon means a dollar-off, percentage-off, or comparable non-cash promotional discount that reduces a disclosed payable total. It does not include a Reward Point multiplier promotion.
- Promotion means an HDW promotional offer governed by these Promotion Terms and applicable Offer-Specific Terms.
3. Eligibility and Use Conditions
Each Promotion is available only as stated in its Offer-Specific Terms. A Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Unless the Offer-Specific Terms expressly state otherwise, a Promotion is personal to the eligible User and may not be transferred or used through another User's account. A User may not use multiple accounts to evade an eligibility or use limit.
Promotions do not combine unless the Offer-Specific Terms expressly permit it.
4. Coupons and Reward Point Multipliers
A Promotion has no cash value and is not paid value, payment tender, In-App Credit or Reward Points; its value is never refunded, credited or converted.
Reward Points earned under a multiplier promotion are ordinary Reward Points under the Terms and the Reward Points and Integrity Award Program Terms. The multiplier promotion itself is not reissued if those points later reverse.
5. Coupon Use and Reactivation
5.1 Use
A Price-Reduction Coupon is used only when it is applied to a Booking.
5.2 No Reactivation After Ordinary Events
HDW is not obligated to reactivate, reissue or extend a coupon used for a Booking after a cancellation, no-show, late arrival, refund, chargeback or expiry, except as Section 5.3 provides.
5.3 Reactivation After a Free Cancellation, Merchant Failure or HDW Error
If a Booking receives a Free Cancellation, or HDW determines that the Merchant cancelled it or did not perform, HDW reactivates the coupon once if the offer has not expired, you still qualify and the coupon has not been used for another Booking. HDW may also reactivate the coupon after an HDW payment or Platform error.
Reactivation does not extend the offer period or create any other value.
6. Fraud, Abuse and Error
HDW may withhold, cancel, or reverse a Promotion connected with error, fraud, abuse, a violation of these Promotion Terms or the Terms, or a manifest offer error, subject to applicable law.
7. Changes and Consumer Rights
HDW may change, suspend or end a Promotion at any time, and may correct a manifest offer error before a Booking is made with it. HDW gives reasonable advance notice before a change to these Promotion Terms takes effect, except that a change required by applicable law or made to address security, fraud or legal risk takes effect when posted. A change does not affect a Booking made before it.
Nothing in these Promotion Terms limits a consumer right that applicable law or a payment-method agreement makes non-waivable. The Terms govern disputes, arbitration, governing law, venue, and the individual-proceeding waiver for a Promotion.
