HeyDoWhat Consumer Fee Schedule

1. Scope

This Consumer Fee Schedule (this Schedule) states the Consumer Platform Service Fee (the Service Fee or Fee) under the HeyDoWhat Terms of Service (the Terms). Terms capitalized but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

The dollar amount of the Service Fee is disclosed before you commit to pay.

2. Rate and Base

The Service Fee is three percent (3%) of the Booking subtotal. The rate in effect is the rate shown at checkout and recorded in your Booking. HDW may change the rate prospectively with the notice the Terms provide, and may charge less than the published rate, including nothing, for a Booking, period, promotion, Merchant or category without waiving the published rate. For this calculation, the Booking subtotal is the Fee Base defined below.

The Fee Base is the original pre-Tax public Listing price allocated to the Booking, including the quantity purchased, minus genuine Merchant-funded discounts, coupons, or price reductions, plus a Merchant-controlled mandatory charge that is part of the consideration for the Product. The Fee Base excludes:

1. Taxes;
2. tips or gratuities;
3. the Consumer Platform Service Fee itself and any Tax attributable only to that fee;
4. a true pass-through amount collected for an identified third party and not retained or controlled by Merchant; and
5. another amount that Applicable Law requires HDW to exclude.

An HDW-funded discount, In-App Credit, Reward Points or other HDW-funded benefit does not reduce the Fee Base to the extent the Merchant remains entitled to equivalent consideration. The Fee Base is determined from the substance of the transaction and cannot be increased or reduced through a misleading label.

3. Rounding

The Fee is rounded to the nearest cent, with an exact half-cent rounded away from zero.

4. When the Fee is returned

HDW returns the Service Fee and the corresponding Fee Tax when you cancel within your free-cancellation period, when you make a valid full Generic cancellation under Section 7 of the Refund Policy, when the Merchant cancels your Booking, or when HDW otherwise determines that a full refund is due. On a partial refund, HDW may return all or part of the Service Fee in its discretion. The Fee and Fee Tax follow the source allocation and return form applicable to that cancellation. Fee amounts included in a credit remedy are not additionally returned in cash.

1. HDW error. HDW returns the Fee in proportion to the amount refunded.
2. No refund. If no part of the price is refunded, the Fee is not refunded.
3. Accommodation. HDW may return all or part of the Fee as an accommodation.

5. Taxes

Tax on the Service Fee, if any (Fee Tax), is disclosed before you commit to pay.

6. Changes, Precedence, and Contact

HDW gives reasonable advance notice before a change to this Schedule takes effect, except that a change required by applicable law or made to address security, fraud or legal risk takes effect when posted. A change does not alter the Fee for a completed Booking. If documents conflict, non-waivable law controls, then the Terms, then this Schedule for the Service Fee, then the Refund Policy, then the terms disclosed at checkout. A Merchant term cannot reduce a Consumer right under this Schedule.
